EACS wins the Best International Congress 2013 Award

On March 27th, the Brussels tourism office held one of its major events, the Visit Brussels Awards. We are proud to announce that the 14th European AIDS Conference won the International Congress 2013 Award! It is the first time that a host city rewards EACS for its conference. Of course, it could not have such a successful conference without our partners, sponsors and KIT who worked hand-in-hand with us.

Official statement on discriminatory legislature in Russia

The European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) notes with much concern the discriminatory legislative and police measures that reflect unjustified and harmful discrimination against gay, lesbian and transgendered persons in Russia. Article 6.21 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses allows the government to fine individuals accused of the "propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations amongst minors".
