EACS and Life4me+ Joint Initiative on IDAHOBIT
On the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT), the European AIDS Clinical Society and Life4me+ interviewed some HIV clinicians and activists with the aim of breaking any form of stigma and discrimination towards PLWH and the LGBTI community.

Interview with the President for the ETW
“The European Testing Week has helped to decrease the number of individuals who are HIV-positive but do not know their diagnosis, as well as identify patients with chronic hepatitis and link them to advances in hepatitis treatment. Testing and subsequent linkage to care are clearly the most important pillars in ending the HIV and viral hepatitis epidemic.”

After a careful analysis of the impact that the current COVID-19 pandemic is having on the organisation of the HIV Summer School, we do not have enough certainty to ensure the successful organisation of the course. Therefore, we have come to the difficult decision to cancel this year’s edition.
