Peter Reiss for Amsterdammer of the Year

We are proud that one of our Governing members, Peter Reiss has been nominated for Amsterdammer of the Year. His nomination is an opportunity to stress the continued importance of HIV among the general public.

Amsterdammer of the Year is organised by the Amsterdammer of the Year Foundation. This annual award recognises citizens who have made an outstanding contribution to the city and elevated the profile of Amsterdam in a meaningful way. Peter is nominated for his decades-long contributions to HIV both inside and outside of Amsterdam, including in his role as local co-chair for AIDS 2018.

Peter is one of 10 nominees; the winner will be determined through voting on the organisation’s website:http://amsterdammervanhetjaar.nl/nominaties/ (where it says “STEM” is where you vote; STEM = VOTE)

Voting is open until January 19 and the winner will be announced the following day.
