European Testing Week
20-27 November 2020
The European Testing Week initiative will hold its November European Testing Week from 20 - 27 November 2020.
The aim is to unite partner organisations throughout Europe for one week to increase access to testing and promote awareness on the benefits of earlier hepatitis and HIV testing.

IAS – the International AIDS Society – together with the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) and the Alliance for Public Health are pleased to invite you to a virtual meeting in Russian, under the theme, HIV in Eastern Europe and Central Asia during the COVID-19 pandemic: Looking to the future,that will be aired on19 November 2020 at 09:00-11:30 (CET).
This virtual meeting will discuss the updated EACS Guidelines and provide meeting participants with key scientific and policy updates on HIV in Eastern Europe and Central Asia during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Liverpool Masterclass in Antiviral Pharmacology (LMAP)
The Liverpool Drug Interactions Group are hosting a free online workshop, Liverpool Masterclass in Antiviral Pharmacology (LMAP).
Tailored to healthcare professionals, LMAP aims to improve HIV patient care through educating participants on emerging topics in HIV clinical management, especially in relation to clinical pharmacology, management of drug-drug interactions and complex patient cases.
Join the Liverpool Drug Interactions Group on the 11 November 2020 via Zoom Webinar, for engaging and interactive talks and case presentations.
For programme details and to register, go to www.livmap.org. During registration you will be given the opportunity to submit a case for the 'Difficult Pharmacology Cases' session. Selected cases will be discussed by the panel during the workshop. Deadline for case submission is 26 October 2020.

Update on HIV and SARS-CoV-2 - Online Symposium

Every year in September, the HIV Cure Research Center organises a lively symposium in the picturesque city of Ghent, Belgium.
Since the pandemic outbreak of SARS-CoV-2, the lab has invested heavily in the initiation of key research in COVID-19 and a symposium can not be organised as before. Therefore, they decided to switch to a hybrid HIV-SARS-CoV-2 online symposium, which will take place on 22 October, in which key aspects of COVID-19 pathogenesis and HIV cure will be discussed.

13th International Symposium on Neuropsychiatry & HIV
The 13th International Symposium on Neuropsychiatry & HIV will be held in virtual format on October 20, 22, 27 and 29 and November 3. The content of the symposium has been updated with references to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemics and the perspective of the impact of SARS-CoV-2 on people with HIV/AIDS, choosing topics that might be of special interest to HIV professionals.
20 grants for registration are available for EACS members.
People who wish to register must fill in the form that you will find in this link : https://neuropsychiatry-hiv.com/registration/registration-form/ and indicate the code EACS 2020. They will receive the confirmation of the registration automatically.
