The fifth workshop was chaired by Dr. Karoline Aebi-Popp and Dr. Yvonne Gilleece. It took place prior to the 18th European AIDS Conference and focused on co-morbidities and ageing, breastfeeding and women in clinical trials.

The workshop consisted of presentations and discussions. The results of literature systematic review on co-morbidities prevalence in women living with HIV were presented, a discussion on breastfeeding was held and a new project on migrant women was introduced.
 

The main topics of this workshop were:

- Report on two last years of WAVE activity

- Co-morbidities and ageing

- Breastfeeding

- Women in clinical trials

 

Registration was open to junior and senior healthcare professionals, members of the community and advocacy groups, industry employees, and others that might qualify based upon interest or expertise, regardless of gender and geographical location.
