Call for Interest: Young Scientist – Scoping Review on Models of Care for Ageing Women Living with HIV in Europe
The EACS WAVE Healthcare Perception Working Group invites applications from highly motivated young researchers for a six-month scoping review project on models of care for ageing women living with HIV in Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for a Master's (final year) or PhD student to gain hands-on experience in systematic literature review, stakeholder engagement, and scientific dissemination.
About the Project
The project aims to map existing guidance on models of care for ageing women living with HIV, identify gaps in the literature, and contribute to evidence-based improvements in healthcare services. The findings will be presented at EACS 2025 in Paris.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead a scoping review of existing guidance and models of care.
- Coordinate with country leads to collect and document relevant literature.
- Conduct a systematic literature review following JBI Scoping Review Guidelines.
- Engage with stakeholders, including researchers and community representatives.
- Synthesise key findings and draft a structured report.
- Prepare an abstract and presentation for EACS 2025.
Who Can Apply?
- Master’s (final year) or PhD students in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Sciences, Nursing, Medicine, or related fields.
- Candidates with experience in systematic/scoping reviews, HIV research, or women’s health.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and academic writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (knowledge of additional European languages is a plus).
Funding and Timeline
- Grant Amount: €2000
- Duration: Six months (April – September 2025)
- Supervision: Dr Ellen Moseholm, Copenhagen University Hospital, Denmark
