The 3rd International HIV/Viral Hepatitis Co-Infection Meeting provided a unique opportunity for industry, academic, community and governmental stakeholders to interact and develop constructive solutions together that can support equitable access to modern therapeutics while maintaining sustainable innovation. The meeting provided research-based evidence to demonstrate the value of curative therapies, it engaged policy makers towards creating an environment that supports their wider therapeutic access nationally and internationally, and focused on identifying opportunities for increased diagnosis and treatment of viral hepatitis in people living with HIV (PLHIV), particularly in low and middle-income settings.
